David Rhodes

As a speaker and author, David Rhodes has a passion to help people re-discover life as followers of Jesus Christ. His creative, challenging and honest approach encourages people from all walks of life to reclaim the story of redemption in their lives and in our world. David earned his Master of Divinity degree from Beeson School of Divinity in Birmingham, AL. David is a co-founder of Wayfarer Ministries and one of the weekly speakers at Engage, a Bible Study for 20-somethings in upstate South Carolina, and Sabbath, a worship service for student ministries across the state.

David has ministered to students through summer camps, rallies and retreats. He has served as the camp pastor at Student Life events since 2000. Dave has co-authored six books in AMG Publishers’ Following God for Young Adults series: God Is, Dismantled, Redefining Normal, Broken, Vice Versa and a children's devotional book, Snack Pack. He has also written curriculum for Student Life Camp and Tour, Dash Student Leadership and Lifeway. David, his wife Kim and their daughters, Emma and Izzie make their home in Greenville, South Carolina.
